Project: Interchange 431
City: Rishon LeZion
Contractor: Denya BuiIlding Israel
The purpose of the project: Hammer head casting combined with walls and channels
We were asked to design and provide a solution for hammer head, walls and channels.
It is a 23 km wide road that connects several other roads from north to south.
Alumax system – for casting the sides of the hammer head walls. Alumax system – reinforced by the
Support of aluminum towers for casting the wings.
Acro towers system – for casting the ceilings on the inside of the hammer head.
This is the most challenging and central part of the project: it is a piling that goes up to which we provided a variety of advanced casting solutions, where there are 21 hammer heads in the project, of which 18 have been built so far.
In the part of the walls: the Rasta+ system reinforced with legs for the casting of the supporting walls at varying heights of 3.5 – 9.0 m. This is a complex wall in difficult terrain conditions due to the shape of the wall simulating a “break”.
In the part of the canals: the Rasta+ system for pouring the walls in the canals located next to each other in different sections up to 14 m long, when it comes to canals of varying infrastructures: sewage drainage and electricity.
The main challenge in the part of the trenches and walls: correct and comprehensive engineering planning according to the conditions of the area, which included nets and irons, to which the amount of molds had to be adjusted to carry out the casting.
The Alumlitght Group accompanies the site from the beginning of the process from 2021, which included: planning, arrival of equipment to the field, training of employees on the use of Alumlite systems and full accompaniment by a projector until the successful completion of the project.
