Darga Bridge - The American Highway, Jerusalem

Project: Darga Bridge – The American Highway
City:Jerusalem
 Contractor: Denya BuiIlding Israel
The purpose of the project: Hammer head casting using a system of aluminum towers and molds for the bridge journeys.

The following Alumlight systems were used in the project:

to the extent of the building to be executed and perimeter beams in different sections.

In the American road project in Jerusalem, we were asked to design and provide a solution for casting a hammer head For a composite section of the bridge at a height of 25 m. The most appropriate solution for this type of task is aluminum towers and molds for the bridge journey, When the towers are assembled on the ground and hoisted as complete units to the casting place according to the plan.

Advantages of aluminum towers system:
  • Allowed load on one tower: about 33 tons
  • There are special aluminum adjustment screws that open up to a height of 1M

  • Thanks to the adjustment screws, it is possible to overcome height differences and strong slopes

  • A tall support tower that can be assembled on the ground in parts (about 10 m) that will be lifted as a single unit using a crane

A set of templates for the bridge journey:
  • The system allows the casting of any concrete element in a simple and special way

  • A system consisting of aluminum / steel underlays and aluminum and plywood underlays
