The differences between wood construction and industrial construction

Before industrialized construction began… wood preceded it.

Trees are a natural and available resource, relatively easy to process, stable and durable. These properties and more have made wood a preferred material for construction throughout history.

The trunks of the trees are used as columns and beams, which form the base of the building and the walls of the shell and the roof can be built with a wide variety of different materials. The trees used for the skeleton are mostly conifers such as pine, cedar and fir. Coniferous trees are flexible and able to withstand pressures such as bending and stretching.

Industrialized construction is a set of construction methods that optimize the construction process by industrial means. Most of the modern construction is industrialized to such a degree that it differs in essence from the prefabricated construction method.

The essence of industrialized construction is the serial production of building components by various means, but unlike prefabricated construction in which the production is carried out in a factory and brought to the site, in industrialized construction the components are produced on the construction site itself.

Usually, when it comes to industrialized construction, sophisticated engineering denominator tools are used more to optimize the construction by increasing the rate of construction and increasing its quality.  In addition, molds are used for pouring concrete, which optimize the pace and the work process.

Advantages of industrialized construction:

1) Fast execution

Very stable structure against earthquakes.

2) beyond the core of the stairs

3) The elevator shaft and the dimensions were added a very serious reinforcement with the help of the cast exterior walls.

4) Saving work time of preparing the forms.

5) The method in which the marble tiles are poured into the wall has a safety advantage.

6) Very suitable for areas where the lot is very expensive and the construction is very high.

Advantages of wood construction:

1) The construction is made of light weight wooden columns and beams and does not require the use of special tools.
2) This method requires great precision in execution, and hence also a higher quality of quality and finish
It can be seen after we made a short review on the advantages of wood and the advantages of industrialized construction. The advantages of industrialized construction are indeed superior to the advantages of wooden construction. Industrialized construction is considered one of the most innovative, technological, fast, orderly, planned and high-quality methods.
